24 Port Cat6 CCS 2020 Right Angled UTP Patch Panel

The Connectix 2020 Series Patch Panel is an alternative to the Category 6 High Density Panel. It offers the same Category 6 performance as the standard panel but has been designed to present the cable termination IDCs horizontally on a tray at the rear , making termination and cable management easier.

Category 6 High Density 24 way panels achieve optimum transmission performances by incorporating the highest quality components and innovative on-board compensation techniques.

This panels offer extended PowerSum characteristics and exceeds the ANSI/TIA-568-C specifications. When combined with Connectix Category 6 Modules and UTP Cable the link will perform well in excess of the Category 6 specification.

LC, SC, ST and FC fibre modules are also available, complete with a Starlight compatible gland hole and integrated management tray. Blank modules can be included for future expansion.

I like this format of patch panel as find it easier to work on than the ones that are at 90 degrees to this one. Would have liked a bar at the back for cable support but the tabs work Ok for cable ties.

This is by far the best laid-out 19" 24 port patch panel I know and the only one I use now. It is also the fastest patch panel to work with compared to the old-style in-line patch panels where all the cables used to run into and over each other and bunch-up at the end making it really hard to manoeuvre the panel into the cabinet once wired-up. With this right-angled patch panel Cat6 cables come in at 90 degrees to the panel which makes for a very clear, evenly spaced-out layout. Each cable has its own strain relief which is so much better and is very easy to punch through. The well spaced-out layout also makes it a lot faster to punch the cables through, check one's work afterwards and correct any mistakes if needed. All in all the best 19" patch panel I know so I am hoping Cable Monkey will keep stocking it for the foreseeable future.
