The Connectix 4000 Series offers Category 6 performance in a high-density package.
The 4000 Series is extremely quick and easy to install; just attach the base plate, snap in the PCB, punch down the cables and install the cover. Gone are the problems of installing modules into a faceplate and pushing excess wires into a back box.
The 4000 Series outlets have been designed for direct wall mounting with top entry mini trunking. In addition, they fit on a standard back box to provide maximum mounting flexibility.
The position of the sockets on the vertical outlet allows for a compact installation without protruding leads.

Very neat surface mount box to replace a bundle of cables an trailing socket. Worked first time after using krone tool to punch the cables into the colour coded slots.

Good product overall, but there are a couple of points to make - firstly, nowhere does the spec say if it is wired T568A or B - it is B apparently. Secondly, it wasn't immediately clear to me that the PCB could be removed by inserting a fine screwdriver into the two round clips at the back - you need to do this to access the screw holes in order to fit onto a standard back box. Instructions would have been helpful! However, note that if you then snap the PCB back into place, you won't be able to remove it again (as it covers the screw holes to the back box, and you need to push out the clips from behind). I found you didn't actually need to clip it back in as it was held firmly enough anyway, but if I had I'm not sure how I would be able to remove it without breaking it.
