For best results use with the 'Easy' crimp tool, it allows you to cut, strip and terminate a plug all in one. The Crimp tool Trims the excess wires as it crimps

See below for the 4 step 'Easy' Instructions


1	Remove approximately 20mm of outer jacket using the multi-purpose crimp tool.

2	Arrange wires into the correct colour code sequence (most commonly TIA 568B). Slot cable into the plug pushing the wires through. Outer sheath of cable should sit inside the plug as far up as possible.

3	Press the ‘Lock’ Button on Crimp tool to open it ready for use. Insert the loaded RJ45 plug into the socket and squeeze the handle to crimp the plug, the excess wire will also be trimmed at the same time.

4	If you have followed the instructions you should now have a fully working RJ45 Connection.

As a new amateur I have had a few problems using Cat6 cable and connectors, partly due to the cheap RJ45 crimper not properly registered with the terminals. However, I decided to buy the Easy RJ45 Crimp Tool and these connectors, worked first time!! Very pleased, but fiddly to wire initially but this gets easier after you have done a few. Strongly recommended.

Love it, makes making cables a dream. As a newbie it still makes me some time but using this really helps. Krimper is good quality and great to use, and the pass through rj45 heads are a game changer. Well worth it!
